My Story

I remember sitting in a car looking by the highway and seeing all the pollution and bags lying around and wondering why they ended up there and not in a trash can. I started out small with just going around the school once a month or so and invited my friends to help. Surprisingly, they said yes to picking up trash in their free time, so I decided to start this in hopes that other people would join.

Projects

We currently meet in Lafayette, California and the surrounding areas to clean up schools, parks, trails, and other community spaces.We create clean spaces where kids can play. We clean up parks and trails and prevent waste from entering our water ways.Join us for a clean-up day soon!

Meet at Lafayette Plaza - 3530 Plaza Way.What to bring: Gloves, paper bag for trash, water bottle, hat, and anything else you might like to have with you.We will meet up together at Lafayette Plaza and go in groups to clean up trash in the surrounding areas and then meet back at Lafayette Plaza Park for the Sustainable Lafayette Earth Day Celebration.Subscribe for email updates!
